We where expecting a nice clean room . What we got was a large clean suite . Very happy with the hotel and look forward to our return .
The room was great, had no idea that it would be that grand. The bell staff were extremely friendly and helpful!
The guy working the front desk. He is the strangest person I think I have every come across. Definately not cut out for the service industry.
We have stayed there before for our Cub games. We really feel very safe and enjoy how everyone is always greeting us with a smile. Thank You! to the staff, housekeeping and ......The Cubs! They Won! Continue to offer a great affordable stay!
1. Location 2. Two great restaurants, 3. Very helpful staff. 4. Grand lobby. 5. Great value. 6. Our rooms were very large and updated.
All your staff were very helpful.
This aging updated queen of hotels in Chicago is an outstanding value, dynamite location on the park. I was pleased and will stay again.
That it was a whole apartment with sitting room, kitchen, utility room, bathroom, bedroom, seperate toilet. And it overlooks downtown.
Our Queen room was spacious, the staff was friendly, and the location was excellent.
The sun deck being closed was a disappointment. The kitchenette could do with a screwdriver and baking pans.
Excellent location near Lincoln Park zoo. Good value for the price I obtained. Clean room. Free continental breakfast and wireless internet were unexpected treats.
The bathroom was quite cramped.
I thought the location was wonderful, a lot of restaurants and shops in walking distance. I thought the price was steal for the hotel, and I found the staff wonderful.
The suite was a one bedroom apartment, which was a great amount of space for the cost. Lots of towels in the bathroom.
The bed was not very comfortable, but comfortable enough that we didn't have problems sleeping or aches.
Decor was nice though dated.
Air conditioning issues. Perks not up to standard for the price.
Very nice staff on arrival and staff at breakfast was exceptionally helpful, location was very good, public transport convenient.
2 x Trainee male staff on reception, they did not appear to know too much about the area or advice to new customers. Car parking quite expensive at hotel.
The location is very nice if you don't want to stay at the downtown. The park in front of the hotel.
The hotel itself is lovely and really well-maintained. The staff was friendly, although did not go out of their way to offer extra help. The location is really nice, although not as easily enjoyed when the weather is inhospitable...
We had some noisy neighbors, but that was not the hotel's fault.
Great location - just a short walk across the street to the Lincoln Park Zoo & Conservatory. Also, within walking distance to the Nature Museum, restaurants & walgreens. Very nice hotel & the rooms have a kitchenette & living room - great for families. CTA bus route very close - for adventures into the city. Taxi ride from the John Hancock bldg back to the hotel was only $9.00.
The complimentary breakfast needs to have fresh fruit, yogurt & waffles! Only has pastries, cereal and bagels.
